Where Are You?

I am right where I belong. And I’m ready for the gifts that this season has to offer me. 

What goodness is happening in your life right now? 

Sometimes, I find myself so wrapped up in the daily tasks that I forget to notice the little magical moments weaved in between. And other times, I find myself rushing toward or wishing I was in another season of life altogether – the point when I have the “one thing” that would make it all perfect. But whenever I finally accomplish that thing – the pattern repeats itself. And I find myself wishing and waiting for something else. 

Does this story sound familiar? These past few months I’ve been revisiting my gratitude practice. I’m not always writing things down or sharing them out loud. But I have been acknowledging the big and little miracles in my life. And this simple act of noticing can make ordinary moments and days so much more special and joyful. It helps me get grounded in all the gifts available to me right here and now. 

So with that, I’ll ask again: what’s one source of goodness in your life right now?
