I choose to do things that nourish my heart.
In last month’s note, I mentioned how burnt out I found myself this past Spring. What I didn’t mention was that it wasn’t just physical, but burn-out in every sense – mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well. Taking care of my body by incorporating more restful choices really helped with the physical and mental exhaustion. But it was focusing on my heart that helped me improve the spiritual and emotional components.
Nourishing the heart will look a little different for each of us, but it starts with the same question. How does my heart feel today? For me, the answer last Spring was tired and untethered. And identifying this feeling was what helped me figure out my next steps.
So how does your heart feel today? And what is one small way you can tend to it?
