The Secret Lives of Muslim Women is a mission centered around breaking through stigmas and starting conversations.

Everybody has secrets.

Secrets are sacred. Sometimes, they’re survival. Plus, we need boundaries. So there's nothing “wrong” with having a secret.

But each secret you keep weighs you down a bit. In some cases, it holds you hostage. And  creates a wall that keeps you from ever feeling truly seen. If you tuck too many secrets away in the shadows, you start to fragment yourself from your full story. The person you are to the outside world starts to separate from the person you are on the inside. And this is the perfect storm for getting stuck.


Stuck = Finding yourself unable to go back to how things were, yet unsure how to move forward.  


The painful experiences we go through in life often feel too scary, overwhelming, or uncomfortable to deal with. In our effort to seek closure, we push these experiences in a dark corner and hope they go away. But they don’t. They stay unprocessed.


Our secrets can hold us back in life. But they can also be an avenue to our liberation.


That's why we've created an anonymous safe space to explore these secrets. Not to be provocative or just cause it’s juicy… But a place where you can free yourself from the burdens of sharing your secret with someone you know and  still experience the benefit of getting unstuck.
