I choose to forgive myself and learn from my mistakes.
I can be so hard on myself sometimes. Do you ever get caught up dwelling on mistakes you’ve made?
Mistakes are excellent teachers. They point out our blind spots and things we need to work on. But when we can’t stop beating ourselves up about one, we miss the chance to give ourselves some grace.
Being human means being imperfect. Mistakes are part of the job description. So forgive yourself. Really truly, forgive yourself. And if that feels too hard, make the intention to work on forgiving yourself. Remember that you can take steps to make it right or do better next time. You’re allowed to grow and forgive yourself at the same time.
